Welcome to The Lone Raiders website!
The Lone Raiders is an alliance of players from guilds who do not have the capability to raid tier 8, but who don't want to leave their guild for one that can. Instead, the lone raiders from each guild band together to take on Norrath's biggest and baddest!

From Zindzi:There I was covered in blood and sweat, many of my fellow adventurers already slain by the might of the dragon known as Silverwing.
Calling upon the powers of the dark lord himself I summoned his power to heal the mortal wounds of the warrior standing between the dragon and a few remaining souls.
The dragon arched his back and beat his wings down upon the dwarf, the force crushing the life from his pathetic body.
Staring into the eyes of the dragon, into death itself, I sighed, the last little flows of energy ebbing from my soul, I readied myself for death: at least death brings peace. After days of crawling through dungeons fighting hoards upon hoards unimaginable horrors, under the leadership of some loud mouth elf who barked orders left, right and centre, but whom rarely ventured to the front ranks to do battle himself, death seemed a blessing.
All the noise and time itself seemed to stop. Out the corner of my eye a glimmer of light reflecting upon shiny armour caught my eye. The dragons gaze left mine, a look of puzzlement, then a creeping feeling of fear entered its eyes.
"TO ME, TO ME" roars erupted throughout the cavern, suddenly the world came crashing back to life, Kief our glorious leader who had been too busy entertaining elven ladies the night before and was too hungover to join our venture at day break, was charging the dragon down, sword drawn he slammed into the dragons chest stabbing and slashing the dragon. The dragon roared and opened his mouth ready to unleash the acidy breath upon Kief.
Drawing upon my inner reserves, knowing that my last action would probably render me unconscious I prayed to Innouruk himself to save Kief, to spare his life and to take my soul in return for sparing him.
My prayers answered the acidic flames seemed to flow over Kief barely touching him, as the sword was thrust into the dragons weakened unprotected armpit.
A final roar, a shuddering thunder as the dragon collapsed. On the verge of collapse, Kief pierces the dragons heart, killing it.
GOD DAMM IT KIEF YOUR MY HERO !!!!!
